About The Position

The Certified Medical Assistant works under the direction of a Medical Provider. This role involves participating in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, adhering to the objectives, standards, and policies of the department, and operating within the parameters of their preparation. The Medical Assistant cooperates with members of the nursing and medical staffs as well as other hospital departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Certified through an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
