About The Position

Join the CentraCare team as a Certified Medical Assistant at our Weight Management Clinic located at River Campus located on the south side of the St Cloud Hospital. We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate CMA to join our award-winning team, specializing in the treatment of obesity. Make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals struggling with this complex condition. Our team focuses on providing a culture of unity and patient experience with 3 of the highest patient experience clinicians in the nation. The CMA will work in a team-based setting where everyone's opinion matters with responsibilities involving direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and clinicians. You will develop long term patient relationships and share joy in their accomplishments and celebrations as they hit milestones throughout their journey. Weight Management is a unique area, there is shared medical appointments and support groups with lots of patient interaction. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
• Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required.
• Ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders, and medication orders.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and clinicians.
• Develop long-term patient relationships.
• Participate in shared medical appointments and support groups.
• Assist in the treatment of obesity and support patients in their weight management journey.

Benefits

• Starting pay $20.41 per hour; exact pay based on years of related experience.
• Pay range $20.20 to 30.30 per hour.
