About The Position

We are a growing specialty with a highly-skilled team that collaborates to provide exceptional care to our patients. Clinic tasks include intaking of patients, preparing rooms for patients, gathering of needed information for clinic visits, coordinating services during clinic visits, assisting with procedures, and much more! As a clinical care team member you will become highly skilled in sports and physical medicine and ultimately be an expert in this field. The ideal candidate we are looking for would be reliable, compassionate, autonomous, and willing to collaborate with our providers, patients and care team members. We are looking for someone we can invest in and grow with the team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program
• One year of patient care experience preferred
• Basic computer skills required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Considerable knowledge of basic medical terminology and human anatomy
• Ability to understand and implement detailed instructions
• Ability to make accurate physical observations of patients
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Certification through AMT, AAMA, NHA, or MedCA as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
• Experience in a clinical setting
