About The Position

Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a skilled and organized Certified Medical Assistant or LPN to join our new Specialty Clinics team. The Specialty Clinics MA supports Urology, Wound, Obstetrics, and Surgical Services. Our Medical Assistants and LPNs play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics and in delivering an exceptional experience for our patients. In this multifaceted position, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, guiding them through their visits with professionalism and empathy. Your role will directly support physicians, nurses, and the administrative team, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of care provided by our practice. As part of your responsibilities, you will assist with clinical tasks such as recording vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, administering injections and vaccinations, and maintaining organized records in our electronic medical record system. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional attention to detail, and demonstrates the ability to multitask effectively. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Current Washington State certification in good standing; MA-C or LPN required
  • BLS/CPR certification required
  • Must stay current in knowledge base, certifications, and licenses required and meet Hospital-mandated education requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of experience preferred
  • Experienced MA-Cs or LPNs and new grads welcome
