About The Position

The Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse performs patient-oriented procedures under the supervision of a physician. The CMA or Licensed Practical Nurse is also responsible for clerical duties, when needed, to facilitate departmental operations and efficiency.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, required
CMA certification from an accredited program, required or
Graduation certificate from an accredited LPN program, required
BLS/CPR certification, required
Willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Highly organized and detail oriented; particularly in regards to time management
Ability to prioritize key objectives while performing daily tasks as well as the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to effectively utilize applicable electronic systems and programs
