About The Position

Requirements

Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in an ambulatory care environment
High School Diploma or equivalent
Approved nursing or medical assistant course
Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and infection control procedures
Strong communication and interpsonal skills
Certified by the following organizations: NCCT, NAHP, NHA, AMT, AAMA, or AAH ONLY or obtain withing 6 months of hire date.
Limited X-ray license or certification (e.g. Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist- LMRT)
American Heart Association Basic Life Support ONLY

Responsibilities

Greeting and preparing patients for examinations.
Taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).

Preparing and maintaining medical supplies and equipment.
Answering phones and handling patient inquiries.
