About The Position

Description Principal Accountabilities: Work in close collaboration with the Clinical Supervisor, demonstrating professionalism, respect, and effective communication with all team members, both clinical and non‑clinical, as well as leadership. Demonstrate a positive, solution‑oriented approach when supporting new processes or changes, offering constructive feedback and practical solutions rather than negativity or resistance. Assist in identifying operational challenges and sharing thoughtful recommendations to improve daily clinical operations and team functionality. Adhere to all time and attendance expectations and lead by example in punctuality, reliability, and accountability. Be willing to enroll in and complete a preceptor training course if not already a certified preceptor and assist with training and onboarding new clinical team members. Handle patient intake, update medical records, and administer required screening tools within scope of practice. Accurately document clinical care, assessments, and correspondence on EPIC. Assist with scheduled clinic visits, ensuring accurate clinical data collection and adherence to quality standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or relevant area
  • National Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • National Certified Medical Assistant designation
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and re-certification every two years
  • National Certification CCMA from: NHA, AAMA, NAHP, ARMA, AMT, AMCA, or NCCT. OR Precertification agreement must be signed if expired or receiving certification within 60 days of employment

  • Associate's degree in Medical Care or related field
