The individual will monitor the environment for compliance with continual accreditation readiness and evaluate the practice schedule for necessary changes or updates. Knowledge of the certified medical assistant scope of practice is essential, incorporating elements of holistic patient-centered and team-based care. The role also includes guiding patients through the health care system and helping them arrive at scheduled appointments on time, providing emotional support related to the patient's clinical situation in accordance with the patient's plan of care, and assisting with referrals to appropriate specialists for diagnosis or treatment. Other related duties may be assigned as needed.
