About The Position

We have an opening for a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant or Derm Tech to join our teams based at the Bellare office. The MA supports our exceptional dermatologists & Surgeons by providing clinical assistance, including patient rooming, taking histories, assisting with biopsies and occassional cosmetic procedures (e.g., Botox, fillers), scribing in EMR, preparing surgical trays, and educating patients. They ensure clinic efficiency by managing supplies, sterilizing instruments, and handling pathology specimens. Clinical Duties: Rooming patients, recording vitals, reviewing medical histories, updating medications, and prepping for exams. Procedural Assistance: Assisting provider with preparing patients and scribing for skin cancer screenings, skin cancer surgery, biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and injections. Scribing/Documentation: Documenting patient encounters, including chief complaints and treatment plans in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Moderizing Medicine's EMA. Patient Education & Care: Providing pre- and post-operative instructions, removing sutures, and applying dressings. Requirements

  • Certification as Medical Assistant or Derm Tech
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • CMA/DTECH Certification or able to obtain in 30 days of hire
  • Able to perform duties of the job
  • Ability to travel if needed

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of General Dermatology and Mohs surgery preferred
