About The Position
Join our team as a rotating shift, full-time, Urgent Care, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Temple, TX. Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services, and more.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Graduated from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
- Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
- Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree.
- Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care.
