Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Medical Assistant specializing in Registered obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Certified Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Support: Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures while maintaining sterile and organized treatment rooms.
  • Patient Assessment: Streamline clinic workflow by interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and accurately recording medical histories in patient charts.
  • Documentation & Transcription: Transcribe provider orders for labs, imaging, and prescriptions, ensuring all diagnoses and follow-up instructions are documented with high precision.
  • Practice Operations: Manage essential administrative duties, including medical record maintenance, clerical support, and inventory management to ensure seamless clinic daily operations.
