About The Position

Millennium Physicians is hiring a Senior Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our dynamic team in Naples FL. Requirements

  • Certified/Registered Medical Assistant credentials
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong EMR skills (Athena a plus)
  • A passion for delivering top-tier care with heart
  • Completed a Medical Assisting Program/Completion of Certification or Registration
  • Ability to type at minimum 40 WPM
  • All certification received, e.g. CMA, CPR, BLS, etc. must be kept current
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems; Athena knowledge preferred but not required.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb and balance.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Be the face of the patient experience-every visit, every time
  • Support providers by taking vitals, performing EKGs, giving injections, and managing EMRs
