About The Position

Responsible for rendering clinical care within the medical practice in support of and as directed by the physician. Will also have general responsibilities to assist in the day to day operation of this office to ensure quality patient care. Clinical care will include patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Three months of related experience.
• Certified Medical Assistant.
• Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification.
• Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees, and physicians.
• Cognitive ability to understand patient's medical records, physician's orders, and medical orders.
• Discipline to work following accepted clinical standards.
• BLS certification within 90 days.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in performing EKG.
• Ga X-Ray Safety Certification and X-Ray Experience.
• 6 months Urgent Care experience.
