Learn About a Day in the Life of a Medical Assistant: Responsibilities Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of the clinic. May be assigned to a specific medical specialty to help with patient care related to that specialty.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Certified Medical Assistant Certification.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Must be proficient with Electronic Health Records.
