Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited medical assisting or equivalent experience.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Cardiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care in the clinic/office/hospital setting.
  • Meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care.
  • Meet communication needs of the patient and family.
  • Provide care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations.
  • Maintain regulatory requirements, nursing and departmental policies, procedures and standards.
  • Communicate with physicians and team members regarding the patient’s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomology.
