Personal Care Home Licensed for 44 beds PRN position Pay: $16.25/hour Schedule: PRN Job Description Role: Certified Med Technician responsible for resident health, safety, and well-being Care Duties: Assist residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity and independence Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications (oral, eye, ear, nasal, rectal, topical) Safety Protocols: Follow a strict 3-step check—confirm resident, medication, and correct dosage/route/time Compliance: Adhere to medication labeling requirements and all care standards Standards: Maintain high levels of accuracy, safety, and professionalism at all times
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Completion and certification of a recognized Medication Administration course.
- 1 year experience or training, preferably working with older adults or in the retirement housing industry
- A comprehensive pre-employment background check is mandatory and will be conducted prior to employment.
