About The Position
Certified Med Technician responsible for resident health, safety, and well-being Assists with daily living activities while promoting dignity and independence Safely administers medications (oral, eye, ear, nasal, rectal, topical) Follows strict 3-step check: right resident, medication, and dosage/route/time Ensures compliance with all medication and care standards Maintains high levels of accuracy, safety, and professionalism
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Completion and certification of a recognized Medication Administration course.
- 1 year experience or training, preferably working with older adults or in the retirement housing industry
- A comprehensive pre-employment background check is mandatory and will be conducted prior to employment.
