As a Certified Medical Tech (CMT), you will join their dedicated nursing team to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and adolescents facing mental health challenges, coordinating medication administration for all assigned residents and routinely monitoring their comfort.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
L1MA certification or Med Tech Certification.
All required licenses or certifications required by State licensing authority and maintain continuing education requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to patient-centered care.

Experience in behavioral health or residential living preferred

Responsibilities

Administer oral and external medications to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or LPN.
Implement residents' personal care plans, focusing on residents' strengths, preferences, and preferred routines.
Monitor and evaluate resident progress, reporting any unusual symptoms and/ or behaviors.
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly through daily progress notes.
Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement measurable treatment goals.
Create and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment that protects patients' rights.
Build professional relationships with patients, families, and staff members.
Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination.
Mentor and support nursing team members.
Advocate for patient needs and ensure quality of care.
