As a Certified Medical Tech (CMT), you will join their dedicated nursing team to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and adolescents facing mental health challenges, coordinating medication administration for all assigned residents and routinely monitoring their comfort.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • L1MA certification or Med Tech Certification.
  • All required licenses or certifications required by State licensing authority and maintain continuing education requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in behavioral health or residential living preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administer oral and external medications to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or LPN.
  • Implement residents' personal care plans, focusing on residents' strengths, preferences, and preferred routines.
  • Monitor and evaluate resident progress, reporting any unusual symptoms and/ or behaviors.
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly through daily progress notes.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement measurable treatment goals.
  • Create and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment that protects patients' rights.
  • Build professional relationships with patients, families, and staff members.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination.
  • Mentor and support nursing team members.
  • Advocate for patient needs and ensure quality of care.
