About The Position

The position of Certified Male Caregiver at Always Best Care Senior Services involves providing essential care and support to seniors, helping them maintain their independence. Caregivers will perform a variety of tasks ranging from basic companion care to more integral personal care, working flexible shifts including weekends and nights.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience working with seniors in a home setting.
• Valid driver's license and own transportation; proof of current auto insurance.
• English proficiency and excellent communication skills.
• Two references required.
• Proof of a TB test taken within the last year showing clear results.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• CPR and BLS certification preferred.

Nice To Haves

• CNA or HHA certification.
• Experience in home health care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic companion care including light housekeeping, sitter care, transportation, and meal preparation.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as incontinence care, transferring, dressing, and bathing.
• Work flexible shifts, including short, long, and weekend shifts.
• Maintain a nurturing and dependable presence for seniors and their families.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families to understand their needs.
