About The Position
We are seeking a Certified Maintenance Technician to join a busy, well-established convention center . This role is responsible for maintaining the facility, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all systems are running safely and efficiently for events and daily operations.
Requirements
- Maintenance certification required (HVAC, electrical, or related)
- Previous experience in commercial or facility maintenance preferred
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if needed
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Quick to respond and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a strong work ethic
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility issues
- Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
- Respond quickly to maintenance requests during events
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed
