About The Position

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Certified Line Technician or Mechanic (Hyundai or Kia experience preferred).
  • Personal tools.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • ASE certifications or Hyundai factory certifications are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose automotive problems as they arise.
  • Conduct inspections, repair engine failures, mechanical and electrical systems, and replace parts.
  • Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, and brake inspections.
  • Use diagnostic tools and factory software to identify and resolve system faults.
  • Perform repairs according to Hyundai and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Ensure quality workmanship and conduct test drives to confirm successful repair.
  • Participate in ongoing training and certification programs.
  • Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding recommended repairs and time estimates.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the service department runs efficiently.
  • Mentor and support entry-level and apprentice technicians.
