About The Position
The position involves inspecting construction documents and systems such as HVAC, plumbing, hydronic, fire protection, and electrical systems to ensure compliance with the Ohio Revised Code and locally adopted codes. The role requires providing information to contractors, architects, engineers, and the general public regarding code requirements. Additionally, the inspector is responsible for keeping records of inspections and actions taken, writing letters and reports, and performing related work as assigned.
