This flexible '25-'26 position allows you to serve as an In-Home Special Education Teacher and directly apply your expertise to transform a young life right in their own home! Position Overview: Deliver customized Special Education instruction that aligns with the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) and First Grade curriculum criteria in the student's home environment. Develop engaging and individualized lesson plans across core subjects (e.g., Reading, Math, Writing) to meet the specific learning needs of a 1st-grade student. Establish and maintain flexible weekly teaching hours in collaboration with the student's family. Monitor student progress through formal and informal assessments, providing regular feedback to parents/guardians.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification
- Proven experience teaching at the elementary or primary grade level, preferably at the 1st Grade level
- Ability to structure and manage an effective learning environment in a non-traditional, in-home setting
Responsibilities
