Care with Heart, Presence, and Purpose . As the Hospice Aide (CNA), you will provide hands-on care to patients receiving end-of-life services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Hospice Aide certification in the State of Arizona
- Current CPR certification
- Understanding of hospice philosophy and comfort with end-of-life care
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Empathy, patience, and ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting, and linen changes
- Assist with ambulation, positioning, range-of-motion exercises, and comfort measures
- Observe patient condition, report changes, and document care accurately
- Take and record vital signs when ordered and within competency
- Use medical equipment safely and maintain a clean, comfortable home environment
- Provide respite support for patients, families, and caregivers as needed
