As a member of our team, you’ll play a key role in providing quality home healthcare, where patients are able to remain independent at their place of residence in the healthiest and happiest state of being possible. The Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) is a paraprofessional person who is specifically trained, competent, and performs assigned functions of personal care to the patient in their residence under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). Inspired by nurses, Boost Home Healthcare makes it easier for patients to focus on recovery and wellness by personalizing and coordinating care.

Requirements

A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
Must have Certified Home Health Aide credentials in the state of agency operation.
Must have current BLS Certification.
One Year (1) of Healthcare experience in Healthcare settings such as Home Health, Hospice, or Long Term Care.
Access to reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

Perform personal care, bath and hands-on care as assigned.
Complete appropriate visit records in a timely manner as per Agency policy.
Report changes in the patient’s condition and needs to the RN.
Perform household services essential to health care in the home as assigned.
Ambulate and exercise the patient as assigned and assist with medications that are ordinarily self-administered as assigned.
Perform simple procedures as an extension of the therapy or nursing services; e.g. range of motion (ROM) exercises as assigned.
