Affirmed Home Care is hiring experienced Certified Home Health Aides for immediate assignments in Mount Vernon and nearby Southern Westchester communities. Requirements
- Valid New York State HHA Certificate (required)
- At least 1 year of professional HHA experience
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Physical exam completed within the past year
- PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year, or chest X-ray within 5 years
- MMR immunization within the past 10 years
Nice To Haves
- Driver’s license preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide personal care and hygiene support
- Offer medication reminders as directed
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
