About The Position
Brightstar Care of Hunterdon County is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA). We have immediate openings in Hunterdon and Warren County across multiple shifts (morning, daytime, evening, overnight, weekends, etc). Qualifications for CHHA: CHHA (Certified Home Health Aide) certification valid with NJ Driver's License. Experienced driver with a reliable vehicle Strong communication skills and an ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families Excellent communication skills Compassionate and patient demeanor Responsibilities of CHHA: Willing to assist in a home care setting Providing assistance and hygiene care as directed, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities and assisting with measurements, if necessary Lift and carry up to 40lbs. of equipment for extended periods of time Walk or stand for extended periods of time Providing assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing Benefits: At Brightstar Care, we value our employees and care about their well-being. Requirements
- CHHA (Certified Home Health Aide) certification valid with NJ Driver's License
