We are seeking professional and compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide continuous in‑home support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with an individualized Plan of Care. Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Graduate of a state-approved CHHA program
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to remain in the client's home for extended live-in shifts
  • Current, active certification: Certified Home Health Aid (CHHA) issued by the New Jersey Board of Nursing
  • Seeking coverage in multiple counties in South Jersey (Salem, Cumberland, and Cape May)

Responsibilities

  • Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene
  • Provide incontinence care and support skin integrity
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning
  • Perform range‑of‑motion exercises as directed by the supervising RN
  • Prepare meals in accordance with dietary needs
  • Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, and general tidying
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment
  • Support household routines and daily structure
  • Provide social interaction and emotional support
  • Encourage participation in activities, hobbies, and cognitive engagement
  • Offer respite support to family caregivers when applicable
  • Provide medication reminders (no medication administration)
  • Monitor and report changes in condition to the supervising RN
  • Record vital signs
  • Document daily care activities accurately and promptly
