About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for 4-12 hour day shifts in Nassau County and Queens. Cases are available immediately, and candidates must have an active Home Health Aide Certification. Driving is a plus, and applicants should have a current physical exam and blood work. Candidates must be available for an interview/orientation and ready to start right away.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of work-related experience
• Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the board

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion/exercises
• Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home management tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making, etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
