Requirements

• Current certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA)
• Prior experience in hospice or home care preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and support to hospice patients and their families
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medications and monitor patient health status as directed
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families during end-of-life care
• Educate patients and families about hospice services and resources available to them
