About The Position

We are a trusted leader in rehabilitation services, helping patients achieve their goals through expert, personalized care. We're expanding our team and seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) who's passionate about upper extremity rehabilitation and delivering exceptional results. As a CHT at Lake Area PT, you'll work closely with physicians and rehabilitation professionals to provide specialized therapy for patients recovering from hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder injuries or surgeries.

Requirements

• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential required.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or Physical Therapist (PT) in Florida.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in hand or upper extremity rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong manual therapy, splinting, and patient education skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of upper extremity conditions.
• Design and implement custom treatment plans to restore mobility and function.
• Fabricate custom splints and adaptive devices as needed.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and home programs.
