About The Position

Come help patients rehabilitate after injury or surgery at UW Health.

We are seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to:

Provide treatment for hand and upper extremity patients of all ages and guide
them through individualized rehabilitation programs.

Efficiently communicate with hand surgeons (both plastic and orthopedic),
hand fellowship trained physician referral sources, and other UW Health
departments for care coordination and collaboration.

Work within a large, dynamic rehab team to continually provide exceptional
patient and family centered care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree /Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy Required
• 3 years of professional experience in therapy area of specialty Required
• Hand Therapy Certification (CHT) from Hand Therapy Certification Commission Required
• Licensed Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Required
• BLS/CPR and Automatic External Defibrillator Certification Required

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in OT or Doctorate Degree in PT Preferred
• 5 years of Hand and Upper Extremity experience Preferred
