About The Position

The Certified Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, locate, load, and unload products within the facility. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required)
• Minimum of one year experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and equipment handling
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or within a team

Nice To Haves

• Basic computer or scanner proficiency preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, or other forklift models as required
• Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and staging areas
• Transport products to designated locations within the warehouse
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report any issues
• Maintain accurate inventory and documentation using warehouse management systems
• Follow OSHA, company, and site-specific safety procedures at all times
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
