About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Flight Instructor to join our team at USAeroclub. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality flight training to students, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to become proficient pilots. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, education, and the ability to communicate effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

• Valid Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI) with appropriate ratings.
• Strong understanding of aviation regulations and safety protocols.
• Experience working with students in an educational or training capacity is preferred.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse student populations.
• Proficient public speaking skills for effective classroom instruction and presentations.
• Ability to aviate safely while educating students during practical flight sessions.
• Familiarity with Airframe systems and operational procedures is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills for curriculum development and lesson planning.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with students, staff, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct flight training sessions in accordance with established curriculum and safety standards.
• Educate students on aviation theory, aircraft systems, and operational procedures.
• Provide hands-on instruction in various flight maneuvers and emergency procedures.
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and training hours.
• Communicate clearly with students regarding their training objectives and expectations.
• Engage in public speaking opportunities to promote aviation education within the community.
• Collaborate with other instructors to enhance curriculum development and training techniques.
• Support students in achieving their aviation goals while fostering a positive learning environment.
