As a Diesel Technician at Ford of Kirkland, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines in Ford trucks and commercial vehicles. We are looking for someone with strong mechanical expertise, diagnostic skills, and a commitment to high-quality service. The ideal candidate is Ford Certified or equivalent, highly motivated, and has proven experience working with diesel powertrains.

Requirements

  • Ford Diesel Certification or equivalent ASE certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years of diesel technician experience.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel engines and related systems.
  • Perform inspections, routine maintenance, and complex mechanical repairs.
  • Use factory-level diagnostic equipment and tools.
  • Accurately complete repair orders and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with service advisors and fellow technicians.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
