The Application Analyst in the Wellstar Information Technology department is responsible for the support, optimization and enhancement of clinical and revenue cycle applications across the Wellstar Health System, with a primary focus on Epic. Reporting to the Manager of Clinical and Revenue Cycle Applications, this intermediate-level role requires proven experience in building, configuring and supporting Healthcare Information Technology systems to meet the evolving needs of clinical and operational stakeholders. The candidate must have a minimum of three years healthcare experience, including a minimum of three years Epic and/or associated application build experience. For Epic positions, certification in two or more relevant applications is required. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving issues, delivering high-quality end-user support and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new features, workflows and enhancements. The analyst will provide application and technical support within a defined service line, contributing to design, build, testing and ongoing maintenance activities. Application enhancements should prioritize end-user efficiency and experience. The analyst may serve as the primary support for complex systems or contribute to larger projects involving more advanced platforms. Candidates will preferably have a minimum of one year of project management experience, having successfully led application-specific initiatives. In alignment with Wellstar's culture of continuous improvement, Lean certification is preferred or must be obtained upon hiring. Ideal candidates will bring human factors design awareness, a commitment to Agile methodologies and will have experience delivering meaningful system improvements in collaboration with cross-functional clinical and operational teams.
