About The Position

The Facility Engineer – Certified Electrician is responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and upgrade of electrical systems supporting the BGIF facility, including server room power infrastructure, UPS systems, and diesel generators. This role ensures 24/7 power availability to mission-critical systems supporting OPIR TAP Lab and tenant programs.

Requirements

• Must have a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Must have a Colorado Journeyman Electrician license
• Must have 8, or more, years of experience in facility engineer with electrical systems
• Must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on BGIF electrical infrastructure.
• Respond to power outages and restore full functionality within 30 minutes.
• Support quarterly facility downtimes and coordinate with tenant programs.
• Maintain compliance with the BGIF Maintenance and Contingency Plans.
• Provide redlines and updates to facility configuration documentation.
• Support integration of new tenant programs requiring electrical upgrades.
