  • Teacher certification aligned with the position(s) sought.

Responsibilities

  • Implement research-based instructional practices; modeling and utilizing new methods and techniques.
  • Use a variety of assessment tools including alternate means, as required, and analyze multiple sources of data to drive instruction and student achievement.
  • Communicate effectively and consult with students, parents, teachers, support staff, and administrators to support student success.
  • Utilize differentiated instructional strategies to meet the needs of all students.
  • Demonstrate willingness to seek and act on feedback from instructional leaders, colleagues, and administrators.
  • Evaluate student needs based on data and employ a variety of instructional strategies to meet these needs.
  • Collaborate with support staff and interventionists to develop and evaluate progress towards meeting measurable goals and objectives.
  • Think flexibly and adapt to the specific instructional needs of students with diverse backgrounds.
  • Develop goals related to teacher practice, student growth, and school improvement in-part through the development and revision of curriculum and various types of assessments to align with district initiatives.
  • Collaborate within and across subject areas to develop and enhance lessons and assessments that align with state standards and the Region 14 Vision of a Learner.
  • Participate in professional learning opportunities provided by the district and incorporate new learning into instructional practices.
