Responsibilities

Implement research-based instructional practices; modeling and utilizing new methods and techniques.
Use a variety of assessment tools including alternate means, as required, and analyze multiple sources of data to drive instruction and student achievement.
Communicate effectively and consult with students, parents, teachers, support staff, and administrators to support student success.
Utilize differentiated instructional strategies to meet the needs of all students.
Demonstrate willingness to seek and act on feedback from instructional leaders, colleagues, and administrators.
Evaluate student needs based on data and employ a variety of instructional strategies to meet these needs.
Collaborate with support staff and interventionists to develop and evaluate progress towards meeting measurable goals and objectives.
Think flexibly and adapt to the specific instructional needs of students with diverse backgrounds.
Develop goals related to teacher practice, student growth, and school improvement in-part through the development and revision of curriculum and various types of assessments to align with district initiatives.
Collaborate within and across subject areas to develop and enhance lessons and assessments that align with state standards and the Region 14 Vision of a Learner.
Participate in professional learning opportunities provided by the district and incorporate new learning into instructional practices.
