About The Position

For more than 70 years, Mercy Medical Center Redding has offered comprehensive health care in the North State, providing acute care and a full range of medical services. One California Job Summary and Responsibilities The incumbent is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to focus care on assessment, evaluation, case management, self-management education and assistance with coping with the psychological impacts of this chronic illness. The incumbent also provides education in the outpatient and/or inpatient setting. The incumbent is a collaborative participant of a healthcare team and acts as a clinical resource to residents, nurses, medical staff and other team members which includes acting as an advocate for individual patients. #RN@DH

Requirements

• Recent experience as a clinical diabetic educator required.
• Current CA licensure as a RN or Registered Dietitian with associates and BLS required.
• RN or Registered dietitian and CPR required
