About The Position

Ally Psychiatry is seeking a compassionate and skilled Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT) to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will provide evidence-based psychotherapy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, behavioral challenges, and other mental health concerns. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering structured therapy sessions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary providers to support positive client outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
  • Active state licensure required in the state related to job posting (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist).
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy.
  • Demonstrated experience using CBT techniques for anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, or related conditions.
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Specialized training or certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy preferred.
  • Experience with diverse populations across age groups preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans using CBT principles.
  • Provide individual (and when applicable, group or family) therapy sessions.
  • Implement evidence-based CBT interventions tailored to client needs.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Complete treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards, HIPAA regulations, and state licensing requirements.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other mental health professionals.
  • Participate in case consultations and team meetings.
  • Engage in continuing education to maintain licensure and stay current with CBT best practices.
