Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience
- Certification or licensure per NYS DOH requirements
- Strong technical, clinical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Physical ability to handle laboratory demands and safety protocols
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of laboratory tests independently or with minimal supervision
- Operate and maintain state-of-the-art automated laboratory instruments
- Assist in training students and trainees, and supervise technicians when needed
- Manage inventory, prepare solutions, and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Learn new testing methodologies and handle special projects with confidence
- Support patient care by performing blood draws and other essential duties
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and patient safety
