Educational Guidance: Enhance patients’ and families’ understanding of medical procedures and diagnoses using developmentally appropriate techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Child Life Development, Early Childhood Education, or Pediatric Psychology.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience working with children.
- Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) certification is required
Responsibilities
- Deliver age-appropriate, play-based interventions
- Develop individualized care plans that align with each patient’s medical and psychosocial needs
