Play-Based Interventions: Deliver age-appropriate, play-based interventions and develop individualized care plans that align with each patient’s medical and psychosocial needs. Educational Guidance: Enhance patients’ and families’ understanding of medical procedures and diagnoses using developmentally appropriate techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Child Life Development, Early Childhood Education, or Pediatric Psychology.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience working with children.
  • Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) certification is required

Responsibilities

  • Deliver age-appropriate, play-based interventions
  • Develop individualized care plans that align with each patient’s medical and psychosocial needs
  • Promote the emotional, social, and cognitive growth of patients, considering the context of their family, culture, and developmental stage.
