About The Position

Certified Caregivers Experienced Caregivers, if you have a heart for seniors and want to continue to grow in your career, this is the position for you. We have parts for 35 or 40 hours a week, guaranteed! Caregiver Job Responsibilites: Assists residents with actvites of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileng, transferring and geting to and from actvites and meals according to the individual service plan. Allows and encourages residents to do as much of their care as possible. Serves meals to residents in the dining room or apartments and may assist in preparing meals following preplanned menus. Encourages residents to eat a proper diet and take adequate fluids while respecƟng the resident's right to free choice and records and report changes in residents' eating habits to the supervisor. IniƟates and parƟcipates in leisure acƟviƟes provided for residents as described in the actvity calendar and encourages residents to socialize and participate in planned acƟviƟes or programs to develop friendships with other residents. Maintains resident's records daily in a Timely manner and accordance with company policy and procedures; documents medical distributon as applicable, leisure acƟviƟes, incidents, and observations; reports any changes in residents' physical conditioandor behavior, and visitors; observes ansaysts the health and emotional condition of each resident; and promptly reports all changes to the supervisor. Assists residents with medicaton as defined in medicaton procedure; assists or supervises residents who self-administer medicaton; follows physician orders and state laws to administer medicatons to residents who cannot self-administer their medicaƟons; and exhibits an understanding of and follows medical policies and procedures. Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for the residents; performs general housekeeping; and follows cleaning schedules for resident laundry, bedrooms, dining area, living space, bathrooms, kitchen, and other areas. Follows proper procedemergenciestuations and responds promptly and posiƟvely to resident requests for assistance. Knows location of each resident, reminds them to sign out when they leave the building, and notfies the the supervisor immediately if unable to locate a resident. Encourages teamwork through cooperaƟve interactions with co-workers.
