About The Position

As a caregiver, you will provide various personal caregiving services in accordance with an established plan of care, ensuring the comfort and personal needs of individuals in their own homes. Your role will include assisting patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, as well as preparing meals and special diets. You will also perform general housekeeping activities, administer medications as trained, and provide transportation assistance to and from activities. Additionally, you will offer compassionate companionship to patients and may be assigned other duties as needed.

Requirements

• HS/GED preferred
• Caregiver License required HCA/CNA (Renewed annually)
• Ability to comply with BCCU background requirements
• Ability to communicate both verbal and written
• Capable of working responsibly with confidential information

Responsibilities

• Provides various personal caregiving services in accordance with an established plan of care
• Provides for the personal needs and comfort of people in their own homes
• Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
• Prepares meals and special diets
• Performs general housekeeping activities
• Administers medications to clients as trained and delegated by a Delegating Nurse
• Provides transportation assistance to and from activities
• Provides compassionate companionship to patients
• Other duties as assigned
