Certified Care Aide (Overnight) - Cupertino, CA
About The Position
Qualicare Homecare is looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our family as Certified Care Aides/Caregivers. Qualicare location offers home care services that focus on providing the best quality of life for our clients and peace of mind for their families. Qualicare has immediate openings for Certified Care Aides/Caregivers! The Certified Care Aide is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs. For this immediately available role, overnight shifts (11 pm-7/8 am) are available multiple nights, and additional 4-hour daytime shifts can be added.
Requirements
- Certified Care Aide Certificate or equivalent
- Active CA Home Care Aide (HCA) Registry status
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Ability to travel around location territory / With reliable mode of transportation
- Access to internet/mobile phone
- 1+ years in home care or facility setting (Overnight experience preferred)
- Able to go on a 3-5 night shift a week
Responsibilities
- Assistance with personal care and hygiene
- Meal Preparation
- Can perform light lifts as needed
- Light Housekeeping
- Accompany clients on outings
- Shopping and errands
- Medication Assist/ Reminders
- Ambulation and transporting of clients
- Provide companionship to clients
- Ability to follow care-plan
- Documentation/Charting
