About The Position
We are seeking a highly experienced and strong Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) to provide one-on-one support for a male high school student exhibiting significant behavioral challenges, including aggression. The ideal candidate must be confident, consistent, and skilled in behavior intervention strategies within an educational setting.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Certified Behavior Technician
- Experience supporting students with severe behaviors and aggression
- Strong de-escalation and crisis management skills
- Dependable, consistent attendance record
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-intensity situations
- Active Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) certification
- High School Diploma (minimum requirement)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct behavioral support and intervention services
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Support student in academic and classroom settings
- Collect and document behavioral data accurately
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and behavior specialists
- Maintain a safe and structured environment
- Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and punctuality daily
