We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CRNA/CAA) to: Provide anesthesia care to a complex patient population under the medical direction provided by the UW Department of Anesthesiology faculty anesthesiologists. Patient population will include about 50% pediatric patients and 50% adult patients. Work collaboratively with administrative, nursing, physician, and other staff to assure safe, effective, quality patient care and to promote UW Health’s educational and research missions. Work in an academic setting with ample opportunity to contribute to SRNA or SAA education Case mix may include: ENT, plastics, GI, neuro, ortho trauma, spines, general surgery, transplant, ophthalmology, trauma, cath lab, and outpatient surgery.

Requirements

  • Minimum – Masters or Doctorate degree from accredited CRNA or AA program.
  • If Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist: All Clinical Anesthetists must have an active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice Active RN license in WI AND Active national certification from National Board of Certified and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • If Anesthesiologist Assistant: All Clinical Anesthetists must have an active license or eligiblity to obtain active licensure in state of practice Active Anesthesiologist Assistant license in WI AND Active national certification from National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA)

Benefits

  • Pay Range $238,000.00 - $333,000.00 / year
  • External hires may be eligible for up to a $75,000 sign-on bonus.
