About The Position

The Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) position at NuLease Medical Solutions involves providing comprehensive treatment for individuals with opioid and alcohol use disorders. The counselor will work Monday through Thursday, ensuring that patients receive the necessary care and support to achieve recovery.

Requirements

• Must hold at least one of the following licenses/certifications: CADC, CADC-A, CSW, LBA, LCADC, LCADCA, LCSW, LMFT, LPAT, LPATA, LPCC, LPCA, LPP, or MFTA.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive, assessment-driven treatment plan dictated by medical necessity and best practices.
• Document all services, contacts, and referrals provided in the patient record.
• Complete all required documentation in accordance with applicable regulations and NuLease policies.
• Provide risk assessment with recommendations and safety planning to reduce risks to clients and others.
• Counsel substance abuse population in a Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) setting.
• Conduct intake assessments and court-ordered assessments.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions.
• Provide client education and case management.
• Perform crisis intervention and consultations.
• Manage referrals and discharge planning.
• Maintain reports and record keeping.
