Our specially trained team partners closely with TriHealth providers to support patient education, adherence, and overall treatment success— without direct face‑to-face patient care . Location: TriHealth Pharmacy Solutions at 4623 Wesley Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45212 Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm No Weekends, No Holidays Minimum Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED or GED is required. Associates' or Bachelor's degree is preferred. 1 - 2 years' of experience as Pharmacy Technician is required Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment , Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Comfortable working with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and efficiency Excellent phone etiquette , including clear communication, active listening, professionalism, and empathy when interacting with patients and providers Strong data entry skills , with attention to detail and accuracy in processing prescriptions, inventory, and patient information Active National Pharm Tech Cert (CPhT). Approved cert is through Pharm Tech Cert Board (PCTB) (Required) OR ExCPT Cert by the National Healthcare Association AND Active registration with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician Job Overview: A Specialty Advanced Pharmacy Technician plays an essential role in the medication use process at TriHealth Pharmacy Solutions. The Specialty Advanced Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting pharmacists with tasks related to high-value and specialized medications, often for chronic or serious conditions. They process prescriptions, manage inventory, handle billing-related tasks, and provide customer service and patient support. The Advanced Pharmacy Technician assists in providing safe, accurate, and timely medication distribution as a commitment to quality care and patient safety. Under direct supervision of a pharmacist, the Specialty Advanced Pharmacy Technician assists in the dispensing of hazardous and non-hazardous medications to patients in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
