BJC HealthCare is seekng a Certification Coordinator to join our team on a PRN, as needed basis. This indiviidual will be sup porting nurses but working the fax line and uploading faxes to patient charts in EPIC. They will also monitor a voicemail box and sending messsages to payrors and nurses as well as looking up information in insurance portals, working fax line, attach fax in EPIC, monitor voicemail box sending vm from pryor to nurses, looking up insurance auth from insurance portals. Schedule: PRN- as needed Hours are Monday- Friday 8-4:30 M-F. Must be able to work 1 shift per pay period at minimum. Role Purpose The Certification Coordinator works in coordination with other departmental and hospital staff to ensure reimbursement for care rendered. Facilitates certification with external and on-site reviewers and resolving payment discrepancies.
